Captains Address:  

  The Captain welcomed and thanked all to this the first meeting of his tenure as Captain. Special thanks to Roger Turnbull for his part in the smooth transition of new Treasurers. Andy commented on Ladies Shield match, enjoyed by all. He then went on to discuss 2025 Away day – please see Agenda item 7.

Secretary’s Report: 

1. Sec asked the committee if we should do a Reverse Turkey Trot – all in agreement!
2. Xmas Lunch & Presentation night subsidy was discussed and agreed, Cost to members £15, subsidy £9.95 & first drink free.
3. Concern over Xmas Eve tees resolved and seniors have 1028 for 8 tee times.

Seniors Open. Thursday 31^st July 2025

1 visitor entry to date, very early days yet!

As the event is growing in popularity it was decided that the format is to remain unchanged.

Lesson from last year – Leaderboard will not be displayed until last players have started.

Seniors Away Day. (Captain to Lead)

Bowood on Sun & Mon 11/12 May 2025.

Overnight Cost £132 – 15 subsidy = £117 0ne day cost £40 – 15 = £25.

At the moment there are 21 overnighters and 4 day trippers!

£20 deposit required by 14^th January 2025
