After the latest announcement this week from the Government, and in keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines from various sources, we are very happy to announce that the Course and the Clubhouse will be re-opening (again) on Wednesday 2nd December 2020 to customers. We are sure that everyone is well aware that some restrictions must be set in place to continue to contain the spread of the virus, and to keep customers and staff safe.
The following measures MUST be met at all times:
Please only travel to Looe Golf Club and the Range if you feel well.
When arriving at the Clubhouse, enter through the front door AND MAKE SURE YOU ARE WEARING A MASK, stopping to use the sanitiser station on the wall in front of you. Afterwards please proceed through to the bar area where you can either stay for food or drink, continue onwards to the toilets on the left, or continue to the right to go back outside/sign into Competitions. (All the time remembering to respect social distancing, including no handshakes and close contact.)
When in the Bar area, please find a table and decide what you’d like to eat or drink, BUT REMAIN SEATED AS DRINK AND FOOD IS NOW TABLE SERVICE ONLY. Please do not re-arrange any furniture! These have been positioned in accordance to Government Guidelines. This includes the outside tables. There are markings on the floor, and signage directing the flow of traffic through the Clubhouse. The only exit in use is the side door in the bottom lounge. The toilets will be in use so please use the sanitiser stations that have been provided and remember to wash your hands.
A MASK MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES WHEN NOT SEATED.
THE LOCKERS WILL NOT BE IN USE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE AS THE EXTRA TRAFFIC WILL CAUSE CONGESTION AND HINDER SOCIAL DISTANCING MEASURES.

GOLF COURSE DIRECTIVES
Buggies are available but must remain with a ONE person policy in place, unless from the same household.
Bunkers: As there are no rakes in use for the moment, a “6 inch place” rule is in operation. The ball must be placed within a 6 inch area no nearer the hole, and the surface must not be smoothed over (improving your lie) before placing your ball. After your shot, the sand can be lightly smoothed with your foot, or the back of your club.
Flagsticks: The flagsticks must remain in the hole at all times.
