Birch Ward Trophy

Individual Stableford Competition.

Eligibility: – For the year of 2019 onwards all entrants must be men and be members of Looe Golf Club. Names of entrants will need to be in How did I do by 1600hrs on day previous to the competition date.

Draw:

Start times drawn & published by the Committee on the day previous to the day of the competition.

Handicap Allowance: 95%

Tees:  White tees.

Conditions of Competition: The Birch Ward Trophy is a charity competition played for a small trophy with proceeds going to Birch Ward at Derriford Hospital, a ward in the hospital which many members past and present will be aware of.  The Seniors Committee looked into extending this competition to all club members for 2020. The Seniors committee decided against the expansion as there was little support.

Tied Competition: In the event of a tied competition the normal R&A countback procedure will be applied.
